Overview

Solar & renewables capabilities

The four ways we help homes and small businesses across the Murray region lower running costs and get off gas — supplied, installed, tested and certified by the same team, with the rebate paperwork handled up front.

Heat pump hot water

Replace old electric or gas hot water systems with an efficient heat pump — typically 60-75% less running cost, and often available at heavily discounted upfront pricing through the VEU rebate.

Rooftop solar

Correctly sized solar PV systems from 6.6 kW residential up to 30 kW+ small-commercial — quality panels and inverters (Fronius, SolarEdge, Sungrow), tidy install, monitoring and full grid connection paperwork.

Battery storage

Home battery storage from 5 kWh up — Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow, BYD, Alpha ESS and other tier-1 systems. Configured for self-consumption, backup or time-of-use arbitrage to suit your setup.

VEU rebate work

Victorian Energy Upgrades eligibility, paperwork and installation — heat pumps, split systems, weather sealing, LED lighting and more. Discount applied up front, no chasing rebates afterwards.

Victorian Energy Upgrades — rebate applied at time of install

Approved VEU accredited work. We check your eligibility, apply the rebate against your invoice, and submit the paperwork on your behalf. You just pay the discounted price.

Answers to common questions

Still not sure? Give us a call — we’re happy to talk through your project.
The VEU program is a Victorian government scheme that provides discounts on approved energy-saving upgrades — including heat pump hot water, high-efficiency split systems, weather sealing and LED lighting. We’re an accredited installer for the relevant activities, so we check your eligibility, apply the rebate directly to your invoice, and lodge the paperwork on your behalf. You pay the discounted price up front rather than chasing a rebate afterwards.
Yes — typically 60-75% less. A heat pump moves heat from the surrounding air into the tank instead of generating it with a resistive element, so it uses roughly a quarter of the electricity for the same hot water output. Combined with the VEU rebate on the upfront cost, most households see the swap pay back in 2-4 years, then keep saving from there.
Depends on your usage pattern, roof space and whether you plan to add a battery or EV. As a rough guide: a family home with 6-8 MWh/year of usage typically fits a 6.6-10 kW system. If you’re adding a heat pump, EV charger or battery, we’ll usually recommend 10 kW+ where the roof allows. We size the system against your actual bills, not a generic estimate.
It depends on your setup. If you’re home during the day, a battery pays back slowly. If you’re out during the day, a battery lets you self-consume the solar you’d otherwise export at a low feed-in tariff — payback times are shortening as feed-in tariffs drop. Batteries also give you backup during outages if wired accordingly. We’ll model the numbers against your bill before you commit.
We stick to tier-1 panels and reputable inverters/batteries with local support. Common choices: Fronius, SolarEdge and Sungrow inverters; Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow, BYD and Alpha ESS batteries; Longi, Jinko, Trina and REC panels. Happy to work with a brand you’ve chosen — provided it’s CEC-approved and has warranty support in Australia.
Almost always yes. Common retrofits: adding a battery to existing solar (AC-coupled), expanding a small system, replacing an old inverter with a hybrid unit, or connecting an EV charger for solar-only charging. We assess the existing system first — sometimes the smartest upgrade is a new inverter, other times we keep the original hardware and add alongside it.
